1/25/10 - 1st Audio Production Class

Today was the first day of Audio Production class, and it was a good one. I met some new students, and saw some people that I know from last semester. In class we learned about what we are going to learn about, and we began signal flow today. We plugged an SM57 Shure microphone into the patch panel of MPA room 100. We got signal flow into ProTools and learned about the patch bay. I got to know what outboard gear we have available to work with and I saw where the cable and mic stand storage room was. The information presented in today's class was not all new to me, and I have already gained a clearer understanding of signal flow just by taking notes and listening/watching.
